I was a member of Flickr since June 2009 and even had a pro account then. With the advent of other photo sharing and social sites, and want wanting to shell out $ for the pro account, became inactive in the Flickr domain.
However, now with its 1 TB free space offer, it seems like I'm attracted to go back again to becoming an active member. I like also its new look.
The new cover page look as you enter Flickr
Aside from the freebie of 1 TB storage, sharing is now easier with its sharing features.
It was a bad night for Filipino MMA fighter and fans as the disappointing results of the matches of the One FC: Rise to Power. 6 Filipino MMA contenders including the main event fight between Honorio "The Rock" Banario and Koji Oishi went in favor to the foreign fighters.
Main Event: Honorio Banario vs Koji Oishi
The main event featured Honorio Banario defending his title for the first time. The first round was a back-and-forth slugfest that put the packed crowd on its feet. Honario put Oishi down but was saved by the bell.

In the second stanza, Oishi landed a right hook that dropped Banario and silenced the crowd. Oishi instinctively jumped on his foe and finished the fight with several punches. Oishi was crowned the new ONE FC Featherweight World Champion.
The fans in attendance at MOA Arena also witnessed history as Masakatsu Uedawas crowned the first ever ONE FC Bantamweight Grand Prix champion. The bout featured back-and-forth action that earned it fight-of-the-night honors. Ueda nearly finished the Filipino MMA fighter Belingon in both the first and second round with submission attempts, and imposed his superior grappling skills against the explosive Belingon in all three rounds to earn a unanimous decision victory.
The other Filipino contingents: Rey Docyogen, Eduard Folayang, Geje Eustaquio and Ryan Diaz also lose their fights.
The Filipino crowd left SM Mall of Asia Arena disappointed with the results with our home grown fighters not taking a single win at the One FC: Rise to Power event.
The striking styles were no match to the grappling styles of the opponents making the Pinoys more on the defensive most of the times.

One of my favorite healthy food when I in "healthy eating" mood, is lumpiang sariwa (fresh vegetable spring roll). As you have seen in my previous review of Globe Lumpia House, it is one of my favorite Filipino veggie food!
Kuya's Special Lumpiang Sariwa is not your typical Filipino lumpiang sariwa. It's a variant of the original lumpiang sariwa. Aside from the standard recipe ingredients of "Ubod" (Coconut pith), carrots, lettuce and garlic, it differentiates its taste from the norm with two special ingredients: Thailand grass and Moroccan Nuts! These two ingredients give the dish a different but "desirable" flavor. The two additional ingredients have anti-oxidants, fiber, detoxifier, Vitamin E, protein and Selenium make it a delight not only for the tummy but also for the body.
The lumpia costs Php. 50 pesos and is available in most of the food courts in major malls mostly as kiosk.
Kuya's Lumpiang Sariwa outlet at SM City North EDSA Food Court
I rate Kuya's version 3.75 out 5. Its different taste is
something that you will like or hate. I like it but not as I love Globe
Lumpia House's version because its a bit more sweet. I still recommend
Kuya's version especially for the health conscious. It's still one of
the best version of fresh spring roll around. It prefer it than the
Bodhi's version.
So if you are in the food courts and looking for something healthy and enjoyable to eat as a side dish or even the main dish, try Kuya's Special Lumpiang Sariwa and enjoy a veggie delight!
